Dr. Alexis Stefaniak-Clark, MD
Dr. Alexis Stefaniak-Clark is a comprehensive ophthalmologist dedicated to providing compassionate and high-quality care to her patients. She provides comprehensive medical and surgical eye care, including the diagnosis and treatment of cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, and dry eye, among other common eye conditions.
Dr. Stefaniak-Clark is an alumna of the University of Notre Dame, where she double majored in Science Pre-Professional Studies and Spanish. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science degree. Dr. Stefaniak-Clark received her medical degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society. She was also a participant of the Community and Global Health Honors Program, through which she served both local and global communities to improve the health of vulnerable populations. She then went on to complete her ophthalmology residency at Loyola University Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident during her final year of training.
Dr. Stefaniak-Clark holds professional memberships with the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Chicago Ophthalmological Society, and Illinois State Medical Society.
Dr. Stefaniak-Clark is a Chicago-area native and lives with her husband and their dog. Outside of the office, she enjoys exploring the outdoors through backpacking, hiking, skiing, and running. She also loves gardening and can be found planting flowers in the warmer months. In the fall, she enjoys cheering on Notre Dame football and baking homemade sourdough.
